At Vina Elementary School, all children in grades 5-8 participate in sports. In the fall they play Football or Volleyball, in the winter they play basketball, and in the spring they play softball. Most practices and games take place during the school day and transportation, lunches, and uniforms are provided. When games and practices are scheduled after school, parents provide transportation and the events are not mandatory.
